Burning the midnight oil.
I didn't baste all four quilt tops. I got two done and decided that was enough! I thought I just might be able to finish one of the two today if I got on with the quilting this morning. I picked the red scrappy quilt to start on and just finished the binding a few minutes ago. Fortunately I had the Commonwealth Games to keep me entertained whilst I sewed. The quilt is grided in the centre (using the blocks as a guide) and I have quilted some free motion flowers on the border. Done!

Congratulations on a lovely finished quilt!
This is gorgeous. I love it. Great job Chris. I know all about burning the midnight oil, as a night nurse I do it all the time. Steph
and it looks great!
Kris the quilt is lovely....the free motion on the borders looks fantastic...
Lovely quilt - and very impressive free motion flowers. It comes together beautifully - I wouldn't have guessed it was a scrappy quilt
Such a nice quilt ... love the colours. You have done a great job. I love the flowers, they look so pretty. Doesn't it feel good to finally finish something. I'm a bit of a start the project, don't finish, then start another project type person. Think I'll have to change that ASAP.
Your quilt has come out well, good idea to have nice geometric quilting in the body of the quilt and then do a bit of free motion on the borders, makes it nice and simple.
Love the little flowers on the borders...Noice Quilt.
cheers
Very nice Kris - I love your free motion flowers!
This is the perfect quilting for this beauty. Great finish Kris.
Two quilts basted is quite an achievement too!
