Red and White Bunting

It is a very grey rainy day here in my part of Melbourne. My favourite kind of weather. Yesterday was warm. So warm in fact that my kids and their friends had a water fight. (Lily's favourite kind of weather. We think it would be really nice if we could have one grey day, then one warm day, and so on. Then we would both be happy about the weather all the time.) Ok. So it actually wasn't that warm. Let's just say it was warm enough for kids to have a water fight. But that warm air did have an effect on me. It made me realise that it really is getting close to Christmas! Living in Australia warm and hot weather just scream Christmas to me. So today I am working on bunting. In one of my favourite colour combos!

You are getting ready early for Christmas by the looks, I keep thinking I will make myself some bunting but keep getting started on other projects, one day maybe.

I love grey cool rainty weather too and the stormier the better! I have bunting to make too but as I don't have any pinking shears I'm going to have to have a back and front. I love the look of yours.

LOVE that bunting Kris. Last time I attempted some it ended in tears. Maybe I should give it another go?

Having come from a place where I didn't see long sleeves for the last two weeks, coming home was a complete shock. Torrential rain and the need for a heater. What's up with that?

Love the bunting .... really nice. Christmas is so near ... closer than we think. Time just flys by these days, I don't know where it all goes to. It was raining here today in Adelaide. I have the heater on tonight. The warmer weather is coming in fits and starts, so hope it gets a bit warmer soon. I like the cooler weather, I like spring, but don't like the heat of summer.
