Wishing for a grey day - blogtober

... but not getting one. I have had a migraine the past couple of days and missed posting. I love grey days, especially grey, wet days because they make your aching head feel better. Maybe this is why I am a winter girl rather than a summer lover. Anyway, winter appears to be over for sure, even here in Melbourne. So, in order to simulate a grey day, I close the heavy curtains at our windows and sit in the dark. I have sat at my sewing desk going through my scrap basket, touching all my scraps and even ironing a few really crunkled pieces. I have a pattern in front of me along with the fabric and yet still nothing has eventuated. Maybe tomorrow. (I'm hoping for a grey day tomorrow too.)

Sympathize about the migraine. They are such a curse. We are having grey days and thunderstorms at the moment. Can't put the sewing machine on during the storms tho :-( Good time to cut out and prepare for some sewing later. May be I will get some time to do that. Happy days to you.

I hope you feel better soon.

I'm wishing for sunshine myself. I've got a horrible cold and I need some warm sunny weather to make me feel better. Given we're both in Melbourne I'm sure if we wait long enough we'll get a good dose of both!

Hope the migraine gets better soon ..... You want grey, you've got grey if you come here to Adelaide .... lots of Rain today .... wet and overcast. Every now and again I hear the rain on the roof. Sounds like your perfect day. Will try to send some your way.

I hear they are the pits. Mum gets them and I so far have not (touching wood)

I hope it goes away very soon and stays away for a LONG time.

Yep- I'm right there with Lotti. The weather here this morning was dreadful. You would have loved it!

It perked up this afternoon though. Hope that migraine leaves you soon. I've never had one but I hear they are awful.
