Oh, I DO wish that were me (I'd be the pretty one on the far left with the Marcel waves and beautifully manicured eyebrows, of course!). Love the idea of quilting, though it took me seven years to make the only quilt I've ever embarked on (mind you, that wasn't with the help of several able needlewomen).
Reminds me of a fabulous book I read a while back about a group of Quilters in the American South. The Persian Pickle Club, I think it was called - superb!
i think it looks like such fun. there should be more community mindedness like they had in the old days. we've lost that sort of spirit - haven't we. l x
