Star Flower Blocks

I had so much fun with these the other day that I decided to make some for me. That's after I saw a pack of "a stitch in color" charm squares by Malka Dubrawsky.

Charm squares are perfect for the star flower because there's a little less cutting! My 5" charm squares mean a 16.5" finished block, but big is beautiful, right?

This is the first block and it's still fun, so I think this will definitely be a quilt. Of course, I have to get the Good Fortune quilt finished before I do any more.

I know. We'll see!

It's hard when you get started on something that you really like, to leave off and do something else. Hope the moving is going well.

Stop showing these blocks for crying out loud! Everytime I see them I want to rush off and start making some ...and seriously I dont need another project right now.

It all looks fabulous (and less cutting sounds like a great deal to me too!)
