My new sewing room...

... is in there somewhere! It has been a busy three or four days and we are coming to the end of the "moving" bit.

Of course, there is a lot of unpacking to be done and we still have to clean the "old" house as it has been dubbed by the kids. They have all been a great help. Mr 17 has been big and strong despite having sinusitis. My Bradley and the other guys are doing the last trip right now but Mr 17 has had a shower and crawled into bed. We offered for him to take that option at lunchtime, but he wanted to carry on helping.

Mr 11 is surprisingly perturbed by the disarray. Aren't teenagers meant to thrive in such a situation? I suppose technically he is a preteen, but he is almost taller than some of his adult sisters so I think he has already hit the teen mark. And I guess he is one of the tidier children! Looks like I will be busy for a while yet!

You are all amazing!!! Let's hope this move is the last for a while ....I think going back to clean the "old" house is always he worst part of moving....all you want to do is start "nesting" in the new house.

If and when I move later this year, I am hiring a maid service to come in and clean my house. There is NO WAY I am packing it all up and then deep cleaning it too! The service isn't that expensive and it will be worth it to me.

Oh good grief. I dont envy you the unpacking.

I hate having to go back and clean the "old " house. Worst job ever.

Have fun settling in Kris. I'm looking forward to seeing your room all set up....I see that you, like me, favour the Ikea school of decorating. What did we do without the Swedes?

I've been a bit all over the place with blogging lately so I'm not keeping up with everything that's going on in blogger world. Glad to hear that you moved okay and that you are all in the new house now. I'm guessing all that unpacking is going to keep you busy for a bit, even though its a lot of hard work. Take care oxox
