Mr 14's new best friend.

Mr 14 must have been feeling lonely because he made a friend this afternoon. He has been building with duplo for the last couple of days. He has also discovered his future career. He wants to be a lego designer when he grows up. (I think every boy does!)

Mr 8 also befriended the duplo dude. He has been demolished and rebuilt several times over since this photo was taken. At the moment he is a bridge!

aaah, Lego! Best toy ever invented! I have fond memories myself of being a kid and playing with them - my friend and I made very elaborate houses and tiny tiny pipe cleaner families to live in them. Very fun toy.

Hi Kris

Lego would have to be the most indestructable toy ever made - ever hear someone say 'Oh, no! I've broken it!
My girls had a small amount of duplo (easier to pick up than 1,000,000,000,000,000 pieces of lego). When they had outgrown it, I gave it to my sister for her grandchildren. We had a girly bucketful which had babies, strollers, granny, cots, tv,mums and dads and it was pale pink and mint green in colour. Cute.

Ah, we had a nice downpour of rain last night, bit of a thunder storm rolled through with a few good torrential showers. Everything smells crisp and clean this morning.

And little boys don't grow up.
We were in Denmark last year
and my husband desperately
wanted to go to Legoland - he
was so disappointed when the
weather was too bad!

Gosh, he's lifesize, isn't it? It would be funny if they sat him at the dinner table with the family. Wouldn't eat much!

What a huge man. He must be about my Davids length! He is almost 6 and has recently discovered the small LEGO!

yay for Lego! It offers so many open ended play opportunities....over and over again. I used to love seeing those amazing Lego exhibitions that used to come to town years ago. hmm I wonder what happened to them? Haven't seen them for ages.
