These two blocks are the secret sewing I was doing this month. They are part of the Quiltaid quilt. If you want to see the other ten blocks go
here. I sewed them for Sarah from
Quilt Fabric Delights and
Janelle Wind is busy turning the twelve blocks into a quilt for Sarah. Quiltaid is for an excellent cause so make sure you go check out the Quiltaid website!
In other news, I got the back for my Tis The Season quilt pieced today! Much excitement. I was determined not to buy more fabric and it turns out the leftovers were more than I needed even. So tomorrow the plan is to stretch the quilt and start some quilting. I might just make that September 30 deadline!

Kris they look absolutely lovely - I have looked at Quiltaid for the last 2 years but a lot scared and really not sure of my ability to start it let alone complete it but the designs and fabrics are really drawing me in this year...helps my niece is named Ruby.....would a not so beginner only ever finished 3 quilts type of wantobe quilter be able to tackle such a quilt?
I love these squares, they are so beautiful. The colours are gorgeous.
I have complete faith you can get TTS done by September 30th . Im really looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
