I am in love with Moda's Bar Harbour
This is the layer cake quilt in progress. (From Saturday's class at the patchwork apple) The layer cake I used was Bar Harbour. I had bought a Bliss layer cake for the class, but left it at home. (And since I live about an hour away from my favourite shop I had to buy another.) So I started off with Bar harbour. The more I sewed with it, the more I liked it. In fact I liked it so much that partway through the class I bought another layer cake so that I could make a really big quilt instead of a lap quilt. So far I have just four rows together. There are another five rows to go. We have had a busy week this week so there hasn't been much time to quilt. I hope to sew tomorrow though. Roll on tomorrow!

I'm with you here, Bar Harbour is a gorgeous range.
What a lovely quilt top! Bar Harbour is great - love the red, white, and blues.
It is nice to start something and love it so much you make it bigger. I love the spotty fabric in that range.
Great fabrics and pattern!!
I could fall in love with that too.
I can see why.. it is wonderful :o)
I can see why you love those fabrics and get more and more attached to it. Those are lovely colors and make a quilt for both boys and girls...
Great looking quilt, Kris! What a great design for such bold colours! It's striking and I can see why you would want to make it bigger than a lap sized quilt. Can't wait to see this finished.
Great Fabric range if you want to make a quilt for a bloke. I find very few ranges are suitable for males. Love what you're doing with it.
It's a bit different to the Bliss you were planning to use isnt it?
looking good...great colours....I am with Mrs P....it is a bit different to Bliss! LOL
I have a charm pack in the Bar Harbor and it is lovely collection:) Not sure what I am going to make with mine yet.
It looks so good - i love that block pattern you are using.
