Pies and Tarts

I have started my new block of the month from the Patchwork Apple. It is called "Pies and Tarts" and involves english paper piecing and applique. I have very little done so far, but I am enjoying it! One and a half pies completed. (Ninety-eight and a half to go!) No tarts so far. I think this BOM is going to be a challenge!

I am doing this through Sarah and stupid me decided that I needed to make it bigger so I am doing an extra two rows but am I up to date BIG NO on that one. I did all the pies' for the first month and half the tarts and I have a lot of segments tacked on to paper. but not many finished blocks to show for it.

The fabric for this BOM are so pretty! I think it will be lovely to spend the next several months stitching them together.

I have seen a Pie & Tart quilt and the design makes a beautiful quilt. Hope you enjoy the process.
