Fresh!

You know I am a sucker for Moda's fabric range packs, well this is a jellyroll of Fresh, by Deb Strain. We are experts on fresh here (two of our kids work for the "Fresh Food People" - a supermarket here in Australia - okay, enough advertising!) and I am in love with this range. My Bradley bought the jelly roll for me for my birthday. I don't have a plan for this yet, at the moment I am just enjoying looking at it. And re-arranging it. And putting colours and patterns together. And putting it back together how it was. And starting all over again. No wonder I don't have time to sew!

it is fun to play isn't it...I envisaged a whole day of playing in my sewing room yesterday with the first of a couple of days off work....but what happened???? I hit the wall (so to speak) and ended up sleeping most of the day! grrrrrr!!

Jelly rolls are so pretty I just have to leave them rolled up for awhile and enjoy them that way then finally break them up and enjoy looking at the fabrics more........

Lovely colours, reminds me of Mexican food, guacamole, tomato, coriander, chilli, tortillas. Now I'm hungry just reading that back. I bet you are going to make some great things from them.
take care

Those colours are nice and cheery. HAve you thought of THE project for them now? I have a perfect quilt pattern for jelly rolls if you would like.

These colours are so pretty, I like them so much. It would be so much fun and so rewarding spending time thinking of what to do with this fabric. Eventually deciding what to do with them would be an adventure in itself!

Question.....please tell me why they are called Jelly Rolls.....I don't mean to be ignorant...but I have been wondering that for a while.
