It's HHHHOTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's hot. We had the hottest day for 70 years today. Yesterday was 43 degrees. Tomorrow is forecast for 42, Friday 41, Saturday 40 and Sunday 40. It was still 45 degrees at 6pm. In fact, at 9pm it was 38 degrees! We went for a swim at 9pm, which was lovely. On days like today I am so grateful that we have a swimming pool! Last night's minimum was 30 degrees. Bring on winter! We're kind of over summer. The whole of the southeast of Australia is suffering from this heatwave, so it's hot in lots of places. Hope you can keep cool if it's hot for you. And if it's cold where you are - I'm sooooooooooo jealous!!!

Hey Kris.....a good place to live is Tasmania. They have had only one day over 30. My sister who lives in East Devonport said to me tonight that it was pretty warm there today....although she wasn't sure of the temperature. I bet her warm is very different to our warm. But then I guess it's all relative. Guess Tassie is an option if you don't like the heat of Adelaide. By the way hope you had a wonderful Birthday...lots of love xoxo

I'm glad you have a pool. I hope the water stays cool and doesn't warm up!

My niece is studying in Toronto and it's -7. She has offered to mail back some snow!

PS I think I'd love to live in Tassie too.

Hi Kris,
You are so lucky to have a pool :)
Keeping cool here by doing nothing much, just a bit of stitchery.
I'm so looking forward to winter, it can't come soon enough for me.
take care and keep cool
Pip

I have been thinking of you Kris in these temperatures. Would you believe here in the UK we have deep snow, which these days is a very unusual occurrence. The weather has gone mad! Keep drinking the fluids and I shall keep drinking the cocoa! x
