Butterscotch self-saucing pudding and anzac biscuits... |
... are baking in my oven as we speak. Mmm... so much golden syrupy goodness! We have had a busy, busy week. We have twelve people here in the house still. Lots of cooking to feed us all
and lots of shopping! So many trips to the supermarket for bread and milk. I remember how this was when we had all eight kids at home. I was always popping to the shop for bread and milk. Tonight we are having pasta for dinner and whilst we were debating exactly what kind of pasta we would have both Mrs 27 and Miss 20 suggested that I just bake biscuits for dinner and be done with it! Hmm... I know a call for sugar when I hear it, so my Bradley chopped vegies whilst I cooked the vegie pasta. Then I whipped up a butterscotch self-saucing pudding and my Bradley threw together the anzac biscuits. (They are his specialty.) And it all smells heavenly! I haven't done much knitting or sewing in the back half of the week. Maybe next week I will sew up a storm!

Butterscotch pud sounds awesome! I love a big crowd for dinner. Always so convivial and fun.
I love the smell of Anzac biscuits cooking in the oven and they are so yummy ... one of my favourite ever, and well you have just outdone yourself with a butterscotch self-saucing pudding. Wish I was at your house tonight :-)
Wish I could call round... Love the sound of that pudding!
Mr P wants to know what time he should pop over for pudding !
oh my... I am so jealous of your oven (and of your baking!) our oven (we rent) has an element only on the bottom, no fan to spread the heat around and it is definitely not the right temperature, I even read some forum posts about others complaining about them! pretty much everything gets burned on the bottom and doesn't cook properly on top...
now as my friend Homer would say hmmmmmm pudding....
I am catching up here and there are so many cooking posts I am putting on weigh just reading them.
