A variation on a Christine Book design. |
Not much else was accomplished this weekend. I seem to have had a lazy weekend with quite a lot of time spent at the shops! Gosh that eats into your day! I even managed a bit of a sleep in this morning. (Perfectly allowable because church doesn't start till 11am.) This week we are planning on moving more furniture and changing some more rooms around. It will have to be finished off this week though because the kids are hosting a farewell party on Friday night for some of their friends who are moving to the Gold Coast. So, I'm not sure how much sewing will get done this week. We will see!

Sounds like a lovely weekend to me! Our Church doesn't start until 1pm so the day sometime drags on. That will all change in January tho...9am time slot!
Sometimes you just need one of those non productive lazy fluff around weekends. Im always amazed by how much time I spend aimlessly at the shops too (although with the amount of money I spend it could hardly be called aimless !)
Lovely ornament Kris, time spent shopping in the quilt shop is time well spent (usually) but the big shopping centres just do my head in :)
They bring back memories Kris. I have some of those hearts hidden away in our decoration box which we made years ago also. They are so lovely.
G'day. That's a great heart. It's one of those ornaments that always look good, no matter how long ago you made them. Take care. Liz...
Went to Adelaide today and fluffed about at spotlight. efore I knew it 1.5 hours had passed, so there goes the morning. Decoration looks great..... love the homemade ornaments at christmas time
