Inside out pants day report.

When this strapping fellow was about 6 years old he decided that his birthday would be known as inside out pants day. He has continued that tradition and his siblings join him in wearing their pants inside out. (His sister is in the background wearing her dress inside out.) This year they even made it a facebook event. So, everywhere they have gone today their pants have been inside out. (Craziness. It's genetic, isn't it? This is all my fault I think.) So, today he is 17. And just as crazy as ever!

Like when my kids wore the giant footie pajamas to school for pj day - it's so much funnier when they are big! lol And, just because I happen to see it - on his shirt - meh - they are my initials - is he one of my fans? lol

Priceless! They sound like they all have a great sense of humour! Does anyone stop to politely let them know they had issues while getting dressed that morning?! ;)

Inside out Pants Day is one of the funniest things I've ever heard of. And the fact he still does it over 10 years later is amazing.I love that everyone else joins in. Next year lets try to get this going global!

Yes - craziness is genetic. Thank goodness your kids have a sense of fun and humour. Life is meant to be fun!

Happy Birthday to Mr. 17!

hee hee What a fun tradition! This reminds me of when I was in high school and we had a school spirit day that all students were to wear their pants and shirts inside out for the day. Crazy fun! lol

You've got to love family traditions - you know that they think "family languages" (ie words/habits/traditions that only your family "get") are an extension of the whole motherese bonding experience. It has always fascinated me and I am always interested to note that the families with the most of these sort of traditions are always the closest!
Good on him for still honouring inside out pants day into his teenage years!
