Much excitement!

Just a quick post to note that Miss 17 was offered her first University choice yesterday. She is over the moon! She was dancing around well after bedtime last night. It is her dream course, the perfect one for a storyteller - creative writing. Miss 23 has another 3 days to wait because she has applied to Victorian Universities. Hope there will be as much excitement then too!

Congrats to the uni student!! I can still remember my daughter phoning me and telling me her life was pretty much over since she hadn't got her first preference for uni! That was 7 years ago and she has since finished two degrees and starts work as a teacher in a few weeks....teaching was her first preference all those years ago! I am sure Miss 17 will love the course and take to uni like a duck to water....and good luck to Miss 23 - BTW love your new look blog....very pretty! I am in awe of the amount of stitching you are getting done! My efforts are pretty ordinary at present....the shaggy flannel quilt is looking good...very pretty! Just the thing for snuggling under in winter....which will be here soon won't it???

Oh that is so awesome. I got the paper the other day and looked through for anyone I could think of that would be applying for Uni, but forgot about your family. How exciting. What courses in Victoria has Sophie applied for and which Uni?? Hope she gets into what she wants
