Not sure.....

.....what I have been doing this past week or so, but I definitely haven't been sewing. I also haven't finished the Christmas shopping, decorating or baking. (But I did notice that some of you have!) My Bradley's computer has been moved into our room and I have done more than just notice what you have been doing. Did you guys know that Pip (blog shown above) has an awesome photo around her posts? All of your blogs are just so pretty! I usually do all of my surfing on an Asus Eee pc. You know, the one with a 7" screen, so I don't see that much. Actually I don't think I have been doing any more blog surfing than usual, but I also haven't done any sewing either. Maybe this week?

Over the weekend I finished my big shopping (I just need to pick up a gift on hold and buy the candy for the stockings) and bought most of the ingredients for the food gifts. I'm almost ready. I like this last two weeks of wrapping and baking. That's my favorite time - crazy time, but fun. I hope you can find some time for some sewing - it's on my list this week too.

I also haven't finished my shopping and the decorating of a tree can't happen until I do some tidying and cleaning. Oh I also haven't sent out my cards yet. Oh well, there is always tomorrow! Happy stitching!

I'm done aside from food shopping next week which is just as well because aside from this weekend my next day off is Christmas!

I have family coming to stay from tomorrow so it's going to be crazy town here...

No Christmas shopping done here either, but a small amount of baking is planned for this weekend.
You see a lot of different things on blogs when you move to a larger screen don't you?

Is it the weather? I haven't walked for 2 weeks, have just got the tree up, need to do some baking but have to work (grrr!) and generally can't get into the swing of it all! I have most of the presents purchased but I will not get the cross stitch finished for my mum (I am resigned to that fact) as the work is just too much and finding a suitable square frame will be impossible with 11 days to go. But it will be finished and given in the new year.
I guess it will start feeling like Christmas next week...

Cheers - Joolz

What....is it almost Christmas??? Shopping? None of that done....baking....check.....decorating...check...I had a mild panic attack last night because I really don't know what to buy everyone....I have quilt tops finished that I could quilt for them all....but I can't get near the quilting frame at the moment...it is surrounded by the empty decorations boxes and other sundry "stuff" I can't find a home for....I did think about making a path to the frame and putting a quilt on there last night....but thinking about it made me tired so I went to bed...to toss and turn because there are so many things I could have been doing...thank goodness I have work every day so I can get away from thinking about what I need to do at home....LOLOL....come to think of it....I only have this weekend to get it all sorted.....or not....?

Hi Kris, just wanted to wish you and your family a Happy Christmas. Have you moved to Vic yet? Hope your headaches stay away for a while. I'm so far behind in my blogging but holidays start today - yay! Have enjoyed your blog this year and look forward to seeing all your beautiful sewing again next year. Love Jill xx
