Inside the new house

Entry, lounge to dining room.

Went to the new house to take some measurements last week. You know, to see if everything would fit and where. It just seemed so big and empty. Everyone rushed from room to room excitedly. Bradley and I took longer. Tape measure and notebook in hand. Then the photos. (Bradley was the cameraman) Everyone else got bored. And sat........

................ and suddenly it didn't look quite so big and empty. We filled it up! Without furniture even! (Mr 20 and Mr 8 lying down. Miss 17 sitting, Mr 15 and Miss 12 sitting with backs to the camera. Miss 23 and me standing.

Ohh, those entrance doors, can't believe you find that in your own house! It will look lovely with your furniture and it looks like you don't have to do a lot of painting etc.

looks great..I am sure you will fill it up on no time...do you have a sewing room????? I love the floors/doors....moving is a good time to get rid of stuff you don't use/need...and start again with all that empty space...LOL Happy moving!

It looks lovely. I love the look of an empty house but it doesn't take long to fill up does it?

Love and hugs Gina xxx

I love being nosey and looking at empty houses. I like the open plan style of Australian houses. To someone from England it looks like a house from neighbours (sorry!).

It looks quite spacious. And with the children lounging around, it's already becoming a home.

wow - it looks massive - do you have to move far?
the one thing i love about moving is that you get to have a huge tidy up and throw out and you can start fresh.
the house looks lovely - can't wait to see pictures when you've moved in.

How wonderful that you were able to go in and take measurements, it makes such a difference when you move, if you have pre-planned where furniture is to go. The house has some lovely features in it.
