Tonsils

This is what happened to Miss 18 after she had tonsilitis. Her tonsils swelled and stayed that way. She is finding it hard to eat and breathe and... well, you get it I'm sure. One more week to wait to see the specialist. She is counting down the days! Are you squeamish? Some of my children think this view is disgusting! (They should see it from Miss 18's eyes!)

Poor Miss 18!! Shame she has to wait for a specialist review. Hope she feels better soon - it must be hard to breathe with such an obstruction.

Miss 18 has my full sympathies. I suffered with tonsilitis as a child. I spent alot of time on penicillin when my tonsils were swollen (although I don't know that mine ended up as swollen as poor Miss 18 is experiencing), and my mom finally convinced the doctor to remove them when I was 12.

I hope Miss 18 is better soon!

Those tonsils are swollen, now I know what mine looked like when I had tonsilitis. No wonder it was hard to eat and breathe. I don't seem to have many problems now, I never had mine taken out. Miss 18 looks as if she has excellent teeth by the way, not many fillings there. Hope she is better soon.
take care

Poor thing! Those are some HUGE tonsils. I grew up in the era when they were snatching out tonsils at the first sign of a sore throat. Mine were taken out while I was in the 2nd or 3rd grade. (About 1972)

Good luck with the tonsils. My son had his removed 9 years ago. Buy lots of ice cream and popcicles.
