Twenty years ago we welcomed this little boy into our lives. He came with lots of firsts. He wasn't our first child, he is number three, but he was the first boy we had ever had. The first fairhaired child and the biggest baby we had ever had at 4.76kg. He was also the longest baby we had had. He liked to sleep a lot. (Another first!) He slept all night every night from the day this photo was taken (the day we brought him home from hospital.)
He is still the longest in our family at 6'4". He doesn't like to sleep much anymore. If you get up in the middle of the night you are likely to bump into him. Or him and his sisters who frequently sit around the kitchen table midnight feasting and talking. So, Mr 19, happy birthday. Welcome Mr 20. Oh! By the way, it's December! Roll on Christmas!
It's December and it's nearly Christmas! It was Mr 21's birthday and we had a party. (It never seems that Christmas is near until after his birthday) This is Mr 22 with his sister Miss 18. His darling wife was interstate for work so we had the pleasure of his company for his birthday. (She is a hard working woman!) Mrs 26 (picklesticks) baked two triple ginger ginger cakes which were delicious! This year has really flown by and here we are at the end of it already!
