It must be boxing day!

Lots of boxes were filled today. Everyone helped. Everyone from Mr 10 through to my Bradley. We have been in this house for 18 months now and Mr 10 has grown so much in that time. He is hoping that he is gearing up for a Paton boy stretch. Both of his brothers began the stretch at 12 and then were taller than the 6 foot Bradley when they were 13. Mr 22 is 6'4" and Mr 16 is 6'5". I'm not sure how tall Mr 10 hopes he will grow. I think he will be disappointed if he is not taller than his Dad. But we will see. I tell him that we are all different and even though his height is already prescribed by his DNA none of us know what that height will be until he finishes growing. Anyway, a good day of packing. More tomorrow!

You guys have done heaps of packing ... good job. Moving is a pain, but if you gotta do it, you gotta do it. I'm glad it's you and not me. I've been in one place now for 8 years and don't think I could handle another move for the time being. Good Luck.

I last packed to move almost 10 years ago. Good luck with that. I really despise packing.

Looks like you're pretty organised !

Ah....packing to move...have done that way too many times.....but you do get better with practice! ...and after 18 months in the house you wouldn't have accummulated TOO much "stuff"....would you??????? I am sure Mr 10 will grow to whatever height hw is "programmed" to be....LOL....Hope we get a chance to catch up before you move!

I hope it is as stress free as possible and new and exciting adventures!

I like packing - gets rid of the stuff we do not need anymore...

hope your move goes well and hassle free. We are about to move as well - need to go and get some boxes myself very soon. We haven't moved for 30 year, so lots of dejunking as well. Hope Mr 10 is happy with whatever height he reaches - I have a Miss 12 soaring away to heights unknown as well :0)

I dislike packing! The only good is the adventure of a new place to live and maybe getting a little cleaning out done as you pack. Good luck with the move

I love that, the Paton boy stretch! I can just see you one end, hubby at the other, pulling! Good luck to you three with your move to Melbourne. x
