Hexies

We moved to Melbourne, but we didn't have a house to move to so we have been staying in a caravan park in our tents. My Bradley has started work and is enjoying it. I have been lazing around with the kids. Playing games and playing games. Oh. And stitching hexies that I bought from Jane (the patchwork apple) in her closing down sale. You can see them above. January is nearly over and they are the only stitching I have done! It has been a lean month craftwise. Today has been a good day though because we got a house! We move in a week so goodbye tent!

Your hexies are looking good. It is sad that you have moved away. Although this tent caper sounds like fun.

Hexies make me HAPPY !!! Wouldn't mind living in a tent. No vacuming, no floors to wash or windows to clean. Yep , more sewing time.

glad you found a house! I made a small hexi quilt years and years ago. They are fun to make - very portable. It's funny, just a few days ago I was standing in the fabric store thinking about making another one. We must have been esp. :O)

Love the hexies but I'm too lazy to do them myself (there I said it out loud )

Glad you've found somewhere to live that has an actual roof. Enjoy moving into your new home.

I would have slit my throat if I had to live in a tent. Well done on the hezzies you need to use glue to put fabric around the papers and you would have had twice as many done. It is the best time saver. Oh and from tent to unpacking that definitely would have been the end of me.

I'm doing hexies at the moment as well, haven't taken any pics yet. Great to hear that you will be saying goodbye to the tent.

Hi Kris

I do hope you can find a cool spot today - are you near a beach or pool?

You amaze me with your craft work while tenting - it made me laugh. The hexies are very nice - what are you making with them?

We are laying low today and taking it easy.

Cheers - Joolz
