On my bedside table
Ten posts away from my 400th post. (And the required give away! Thought I'd give you a heads up!) My, doesn't time fly when you're having fun! This is what I have on my bedside table. My dvd player helps to while away those awful insomniac hours early in the morning. It also helps me go back to sleep. If I can't go to sleep I put on "As Time Goes By" (BBC comedy) and I drift straight off. I love that series. In fact I wore out the videos I had. The dvds have been much more robust than the videos were! I guess it's just familiar and I go to sleep. Hmmm..... I should be asleep now. Goodnight!

I don't have a bedside table ...but the bed IS back in the bedroom so I am very grateful for that! Will work on getting the bedside table and some of the other furniture back in there tomorrow...have a good sleep!!!
Oh, I do so love Jean and Lionel. A classic series (one which is NOT yet in my DVD home library - note to self - hunt it down when next in Angus & Robertson)! Bedside TV makes me very noddy.
Cheers - Joolz
I love watching TV in bed.... so comfy and warm....especially with the romote in hand. My Son Jason came over today (I was wagging church because I'm still sick....but then actually that's just having a day off) and fixed up the new digital set-top box that I have. Wow TV is so clear now. I love the series The Good Life with Penelope Keith in it..... it's so good.
I love "As Time Goes By". Judi Dench is one of my favorite actresses. Sleep well!
Sorry to hear of your sleepingless nights... ohhh you better do something more boring... not anything fun..;o))) Any way .. good luck.. sleeping..:o)
Ohhh Love that show watched them all over & over......
hope you get a good nights sleep then!
Hope you get some better sleep soon - wathcing TV in bed always sends me straight to sleep. As Time Goes By is such a brilliant series.
I know we've spoken about our love/passion of 'As Time Goes By' but (sadly)I don't have a DVD player in the bedroom, so I have to get up and snuggle on the couch-under a quilt of course. But I don't go to sleep I love it too much, I keep going, 'just 1 more episode'.....
Hi Kris,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I recognise this scenario, not the music or the dvd's, but the wakeful small hours of the night. After months of lying awake for hours, I now get up and cut out patterns or do some stitching until I am tired again, then sleep for another few precious hours. I now have more time during daylight hours for the actual sewing of the items.
Blessings
Ellice
